Enjoy chili at Ronan City Library fundraiser
RONAN — On Wednesday, March 13, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., Ronan City Library will serve up chili with cornbread or frybread as part of a library fundraiser. Donations of $5 to cover operating expenses will be appreciated. The library is located at 203 Main Street. Come down and enjoy good food, a beverage and great conversation. RONAN — Ronan/Pablo Summer Recreation has final signups for baseball on Wednesday, March 13, at the Ronan Event Center Commons area from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

NARF to meet
RONAN — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees will meet at the Ronan Senior Center on Wednesday, March 13, at noon. Lunch is available.
Following lunch there will be a program featuring marine Sgt. Chuck Lewis. He will speak on veterans’ issues.
After the program there will be a brief business meeting.
Round Butte Grange 126 offers informational meeting
RONAN — Round Butte Grange 126 is having an informational meeting on Wednesday, March 13, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at the Ronan Senior Center, (528 W. Main St.), to let people know more about what the Grange does for the family and the community on the local, state and national levels. The Grange has many programs to benefit family, schools and senior citizens along with other organizations. There will be a speaker from National Grange to explain how the Grange works with other organizations for the betterment of people. The Grange is the oldest organization in the United Stated; organized in 1867 to benefit families and worthwhile causes. Come join us and learn more about the Grange. Ronan Women’s Club to sponsor annual arts, craft, flea market
RONAN — The 27th annual arts, crafts and flea market, sponsored by the Ronan Women’s Club, will be held Saturday, March 16, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Ronan Community Center.
This event attracts buyers and sellers from not only the Mission Valley, but from many other areas in Western Montana. Venders may sell anything from craft items to typical bazaar and flea market items. Coffee, beverages, snacks and lunch will be available on the premises. A silent auction will be held with donated items.
Tables are available and will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Call Alice at (406) 676-5079 to reserve a space or for further information. All proceeds for the event will be used for the numerous community projects the club is involved in.

Ronan to become O’Ronan on St. Patrick’s Day
RONAN — The Ronan Irish community will present the O’Ronan’s St. Patrick’s Day parade on Sunday, March 17, at 2 p.m. on Main Street.

Spring concert packed with talent
RONAN — At 7 p.m. on March 19 at the Ronan Performing Arts Center the Ronan High School concert bands and a percussion ensemble will perform. RHS jazz bands and Ronan show choir will also perform a number of songs from their upcoming tour to Salt Lake City.

VFW to host discussion of PTSD challenges, family relationships
RONAN — At VFW Post 5652 on Thursday, March 21, at 6:30 p.m. there will be a meeting to discuss the hidden wounds of posttraumatic stress disorder. Dance if you can, learn if you can’t
RONAN — There will be a community dance on the 22nd of March starting at 6 p.m. and going until 10 p.m. It will be at the Terrace Lake Community Church on Terrace Lake Road. The Little Big Band will be performing all your favorite “big band” and “classic country” dance tunes. As always we have great refreshments and company. If you don’t dance, come and learn or just get out and unplug and visit your neighbors for a change. Hope to see you there.

5-on-5 tourney to benefit Ronan basketball
RONAN — The Ronan Event Center will host a 5-on-5 tournament for fifth and sixth-grade boys and girls and seventh and eighth-grade boys and girls. The event is scheduled for March 23 and there is a $150 entry fee. Proceeds will benefit the basketball program. Faith Lutheran invites all for Easter week services
RONAN —Palm Sunday, March 24 at 10 a.m., will begin with a musical celebration. Maundy services will be Thursday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. and Good Friday services, on March 29, will be at 7:30 p.m. Easter services will be at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. March 31 with breakfast between services from 9-10:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome. Concert series continues in Ronan
RONAN — Big Productions Concert series continues on Monday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m. with The Makem and Spain Brothers. They will be performing at the Ronan Performing Arts Center with a variety of instruments and four male vocals, using precise three-part, perfectly blended harmonies. Many have described them as a Celtic wall of sound. Tickets are available at the door for $4.
