POLSON — A series of mid-week worship services at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 409 4th Ave. E., begins with the Thanksgiving Eve service on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at 7 p.m. Advent soup suppers and services will be Wednesdays, Dec. 4, 11 and 19.
Suppers will be served at 5:30 p.m. and the worship services begin at 6:30 p.m. The choir and youth group will meet after services at 7:15 p.m.

Choral, hand bell, flute concert scheduled
POLSON — Practices are underway for the annual Mission Valley Choral Society concert scheduled for 3 p.m. on Dec. 15 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. The free concert includes choral performances by the choral society along with the Flathead Flute Choir and the Copeland Memorial Ringers hand bell group.

Close Up raising funds for D.C trip
ARLEE — The Arlee Close Up organization is raising funds to send students on a weeklong trip to Washington, D.C. in May of 2014. Parade of Lights travels Main Street
RONAN — The Parade of Lights on Main Street will take place on Friday, Dec. 20, at 6 p.m. There will be expanded drawings for Holiday Treasurers held on the back of a truck, which will stop on Main Street at the end of the parade. The list of prizes and baskets is amazing and you must be present to win. Santa, brimming over with Christmas spirit, will then lead everyone to Bockman Park for hot chocolate.
