Kindergarten Round Up held for Ronan Schools
RONAN — Kindergarten Round Up pre-registration for Ronan/Pablo residents takes place on Thursday, April 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Screening for hearing, speech, motor skills and basic school readiness will be given. Placement for two age groups will happen: must be 5 years old by Sept. 10, 2025, or must be 4 years old by Sept. 10, 2025. (There is limited registration availability for 4 year old age group.) Bring county birth certificate, certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) and immunization reacords.

Navgating the Road to Life Transition Fair

KALISPELL - Mariah Gladstone, an indigenous chef and founder of Indigikitchen, will speak about food sovereignty, cultural resilience at the Earth Day Expo on Saturday, April 19, at Flathead Valley Community College Arts & Technology Building, downstairs in Room 144 A & B. Conservation series offers free education
CHARLO - The spring 2025 Mission Valley Conservation Series will take place on Wednesday, April 23, at 6 p.m. at the Ninepipes Lodge. “SKQ Dam: EKI’s Stewardship of Flathead Lake & the Lower Flathead River” is the topic for the evening. Enjoy student performances at ‘Music in the Missions’
RONAN - On Wednesday, April 23, at 6:30 p.m. “Music in the Missions” will take place with performances by Polson and Ronan High Schools and Middle Schools at the Ronan Performing Arts Center in the Ronan Middle School, 35885 Round Butte Rd. W.

Flathead Reservation Fish and Wildlife Board to meet
POLSON - The Flathead Reservation Fish and Wildlife Board will meet Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the Lake County Library in Polson. All interested persons are invited to attend. The board is composed of tribal and state appointees and a representative of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The board is advisory to the state and tribes and is responsible for the development of cooperative management plans, which include fishing and bird hunting regulations. Go to Cowboy Ball
POLSON - The 33rd Annual Cowboy Ball Fundraising Banquet & Auction will take place on Friday, April 25, Under the Big Tent at the Polson Fairgrounds. No host cocktails and silent auction begin at 5:30 p.m. and prime rib dinner is at 6:30 p.m.
The live auction begins at 7:30 p.m. and dancing to follow.

Pachyderms to discuss City of Polson audit
POLSON - The next Lake County Pachyderm meeting will be held on Friday, April 25, at the Polson Rural Fire Station located at 25 Regatta Road. The meeting will begin at noon. Our guest speaker for this meeting will be Polson citizen Larry Ashcraft who is a member of the Polson City Audit Committee. Larry will inform us about the scope of the City of Polson audit, the people on the audit committee and what they have found so far as well as next steps. Larry will be available to answer your questions too.
