Flathead Indian Reservation outdoor burning by permit closed

News from CSKT Division of Fire RONAN -Fire officials with the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Division of Fire, have restricted debris burning (outdoor burning) starting Wednesday, June 4. Any last-minute outdoor burning scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, should be completed by 6 p.m. Open debris burning will resume after fire season, starting Oct. 1. Prevention is critical for the safety of our communities, responders, and forests. People who burned this spring should go check on their piles to make sure they are fully extinguished.
