POLSON — Lu Dean Allred, age 90, passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at his residence. He was born on May 13, 1932, in Charlo to George and Idella Allred. He had two brothers, George, Jr. and Merrill and one sister Reta Hanson. He was raised in Charlo and graduated from Charlo High School. Dean owned Allred Trucking and spent some time in land development. Allred Trucking went to Alaska in the ‘70s and worked on the pipeline. He married Bonnie Davis and together they had four children.
