POLSON – Fifty-eight cowboys and cowgirls from around the state were in Polson on Saturday, Sept. 14, as the Montana High School Rodeo made a fall rodeo season stop at the fairgrounds.  Members of the Mission Valley High School Rodeo team turned in some impressive times and great performances during the single-day event.  In the first rodeo performance of the day, Ronan cowboy Trapper McCallister won the tie-down roping event with a time of 17.5 seconds. Kylie Lund, a Ronan cowgirl, picked up two runner-up finishes by scoring an 18.92-second ride in the barrel race and a 9.19-second time in the goat tying event.
