Nearly 2,000 community members attended the tenth annual Pumpkin Patch Bash Oct. 31 at Polson High School. Lots of games, food, face painting and, of course, candy were shared with Mission Valley families. The free event is sponsored by the New Life Christian Center, the Polson Four Square Church and the Mission Valley Christian Academy. About 100 volunteers helped set up the games, food and clean up after - providing guests with a safe and fun evening from 5 to 8 p.m.

Each year the Ronan Ladies Auxiliary VFW 5652 honors a group or someone who makes a difference in our community. This year, we honored the Bread Basket for our “Make a Difference Day.” On Tuesday, Oct. 28, auxiliary members presented to Gloria Kramer, vice president of the Ronan Bread Basket, a certificate of appreciation for serving our community in need and a check for $100. Pictured from left are Gloria Kramer, Helen Sorenson, Peggy Cote-Smith and Margaret Fay.
