Arch restoration funds sought ... A fundraising effort to save the Ronan arch has recently been launched. The wooden arch that hangs over the entrance to Ronan’s Main Street from U.S. Highway 93 was built by the Ronan High School Class of 2002. The sign has had severe weather damage over the years and if not restored, will have to be removed. Arch restoration has been estimated to cost up to $50,000. Anyone wishing to contribute may make donations to the cause at Valley Bank, Glacier Bank or online at www.lakecountycdc.org (click on donate.) For more information, call 676-5901.
