Stealthy predator: Northern Goshawks are fierce hunters and were once called "cook's hawk" for their ability to snare food for falconers. These hawks are very protective of their brooding nests and have even been known to attack people who get too close. Attila the Hun wore an image of a Northern Goshawk on his helmet.
