ARLEE — The Arlee Senior Center at Weissinger Street will have its Christmas/ holiday dinner on Saturday, Dec. 17, at 6 p.m. We invite all of you to attend and enjoy our companionship. We will be ending our silent auction for those who are looking for Christmas gifts for that special someone, as well as drawing for the beautiful quilt made by Joyce Auer, Connie Wining and Margaret Bachmeier. Other quilt projects are also available on the silent auction.

Snowbirds may have flown to the south, but the lunches here at the Arlee Senior Center are hot and tasty. Bring your families, friends and help support our center.

The menu for December is as follows:

— Wednesday, Dec. 14: sweet and sour pork over rice, salad, fruit, cookies

— Friday, Dec. 16: tomato soup/grilled cheese sandwiches, relish tray, fruit and cookies

— Saturday, Dec. 17: dinner of baked ham, scalloped potatoes, coleslaw, squash, apple pie

— Monday, Dec. 19: hot turkey sandwich, cranberries, buttered carrots, ice-cream sundae

— Wednesday, Dec. 21: grilled brats with onions, macaroni salad, angel food cake with berries

— Friday, Dec. 23: roast beef, potatoes and gravy, salad, fruit, Christmas cookies

— Wednesday, Dec. 28: meatloaf, tater tots, broccoli salad, buns, peach cobbler

— Friday, Dec. 30: cook’s choice Lunch meals are served at noon and Saturday meals are served at 6 p.m.

All meals include the nutrition that we need for our winter health needs.

The seniors love new visitors, old friends and family. Hope to see you all there.
