POLSON — The search for my replacement is over. I’ve always said that it needed to be someone who will treat my ladies in the manner to which they have been accustomed. This person will probably go beyond that and will spoil them. After Oct. 1, I’ll get up in the morning and won’t have any place to go. Hmmm. Maybe then I’ll just take a nap.
Senior bowling will begin on Sept. 12 at 1 p.m. Bowlers 50 years old and over are eligible. This year the cost is $9.75. Call Frani Basta at 406-883-1125 for information.
Thanks to Dick Matejovsky for the sweet corn. Diners commented that it was the best they’d ever had.
So much for assuming. Without Bridge results for last Friday, I assumed that Max would be first again. It turns out that Michele Walter and Pat Rawlings showed him how it was done.
We will be closed on Sept. 4 for Labor Day
The lunch menu:
— Thursday, Aug. 31: French dip sandwich, potato wedges
— Friday, Sept. 1: spaghetti, garlic bread
— Monday, Sept. 4: closed
— Tuesday, Sept. 5: baked ham, whipped sweet potatoes
— Wednesday, Sept. 6: taco salad in taco bowls
All meals include vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
