ST. IGNATIUS — Just when the caterpillar thought the world was ending, he turned into a butterfly …
There will be a community dinner at the center on Wednesday, Aug. 30, at 5:30 p.m.
Valley Bank is still selling quilt raffle tickets for $1 each or 6 for $5. All proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Club of Lake County and the Flathead Indian Reservation. The winner will be announced on Sept. 15.
We are still accepting bids on a 23-foot gabled roof to be installed on the south side of our building. This will include the cleanup of the old existing porch. The successful bidder must have an independent contractor’s certificate. Bids are available at the center in the front entryway. To receive a bid by mail, call the center at 406-745-4462.
The quilters are in the center on Mondays from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The card party will be held on the second Monday evening of each month at 7 p.m. and everyone is welcome.
The Neighborhood Watch group will meet on the third Tuesday evening of each month at 7 p.m. and the public is encouraged to attend.
The foot clinic will be here at the center on Tuesday, Sept. 19, from 10 a.m.- noon. Please call the center to make your appointment.
Commodities will be here on Tuesday, Sept. 19, and ready for pickup after 2 p.m.
Meals can be delivered to qualified seniors and frozen meals are also available. For more information, call the center.

— Tuesday, Sept. 5: cowboy casserole at noon
— Wednesday, Sept. 6: evening meal at 5:30 p.m. - pork
— Friday, Sept. 8: birthday dinner, chicken at noon
— Tuesday, Sept. 12: sandwiches at noon
Our menu is subject to change.
Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
Remember, you do not have to be a senior citizen to join us for lunch or dinner; everyone is welcome.
