HELENA —Governor Greg Gianforte announced on Wednesday, Dec. 27, the following appointments:
Brian Youngren of Ronan was appointed to Teachers’ Retirement Board (TRS). A Tech/CLS Lab teacher in Ronan School District 30, Youngren will serve in his first term on the board, which will run through July 1, 2026.
Barbara Varnum of Polson was appointed to the Committee on Telecommunications Access Services for Persons With Disabilities. A native Montanan, Varnum worked for the State of Montana for 27 years in the disability field. She will serve the board in her second term which will run through July 1, 2026.
(FSA) Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for the 2024 crop year. Producers can enroll and make election changes for the 2024 crop year from now until the March 15 deadline.
