PABLO — The Montana Department of Transportation, along with its partner Riverside Contracting, Inc., will begin safety improvement activities on US Highway 93 at the intersection with Minesinger Trail and North Reservoir Road.
Crews will be realigning the left turning lanes, adding reflectorized backplates on the traffic signal heads, and installing radar detection, along with other minor improvements. The purpose of this project is to enhance roadway safety features to improve sight distance and traffic operations.
Work is scheduled to begin the week of April 28 and continue through June, weather and other factors permitting. Crews will be working Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Travelers should expect flaggers on Minesinger Trail and Reservoir Road, 10 to 15-minute delays, reduced speeds, and single-lane traffic through the project area. A detour will be in place for those wanting to turn off US 93 onto Minesinger Trail, as crews will be installing a new drainage culvert. Those traveling southbound on US 93 will need to take Mud Lake Trail to Farm Road. Those traveling northbound will need to take Caffrey Road or Glover Road to Skyline Drive. Follow all posted signage and watch for workers. For the most up-to-date width restrictions and road conditions, visit: https://www.511mt.net/.
