POLSON — The Bookfest Club, an adult book club, will meet at the Polson Library on Saturday, Aug. 2, in the community room at 2 p.m. They will discuss, “The Unmaking of June Farrow,” written by Adrienne Young.

This program will repeat on the first Tuesday of each month. Memory Café is a safe and supportive environment for people living with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other forms of memory loss and their caregivers/family members. POLSON — Join a ‘Science on Tap’ evening at the Durham, 49494 US-93, from 6:30-8 p.m. with Dr. Matt Church, microbial ecologist at the Flathead Lake Biological Station. 

Church will share insights from his ongoing research into the invisible life forms and complex ecological dynamics of Flathead Lake. Tickets are $5.

POLSON — The 2025 Polson Brewfest is an annual fundraiser benefitting Mission Valley youth. The event takes place in conjunction with the annual Courthouse Art Festival and Cruisin’ by the Bay Car Show on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Raffle tickets will also be sold: 5 for $100 or 1 for $25. Five $1,000 prizes will be awarded. Funds raised support local youth projects such as the Polson Basketball Club, Friends of the Children and pickleball youth clinics.

Expect live music by a local band featuring indie-folk, bluegrass and easy summer tunes.  There will be games, family-friendly activities like face painting, food trucks, vendors and business open houses.
