Judge commends woman

The imposition of sentencing was deferred for a period of three years in a case involving a Polson woman who nearly bit her sister’s ear off. Ida Marla Rose Couture, 24, was initially charged with felony aggravated assault, but she pled guilty to the reduced charge of criminal endangerment as part of a plea agreement. According to court records, on April 12, 2020, Polson police responded to a report of a woman yelling and spitting at a man in the area of 11th Street E and 10th Ave. E. Wreck leads to restitution payment for injuries
