POLSON – The Mission Valley Mariners and Kalispell Lakers split a doubleheader on the baseball diamond Wednesday night during conference A Legion baseball action at O’Malley Park in Polson.  The Mariners dropped the first game, 4-0; however, in the nightcap, the Mariners’ bats exploded for five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning for a 7-2 victory. In the first game, the Lakers scored once in the third inning and pushed three runners across the plate in the sixth inning for a 4-0 shutout win.  The Lakers’ pitching staff held the Mariners to just four hits, while Mariner pitcher Alex Muzquiz pitched six innings, allowing four runs on seven hits.&...
