Prep volleyball players receive awards

POLSON – Last week various volleyball prep conferences began announcing their post-season accolades. The Northwestern A recognized Polson Lady Pirate Maggie Todd with first-team all-state and all-conference honors. Lady Pirate Misty Tenas and Ronan Maiden Madeline McCrea garnered second-team all-conference awards. Lena Pawlowski, Ara Mercer, Berkley Ellis and Grace Quinones picked up all-conference honorable mentions. The Class B Mission Lady Bulldogs’ junior Sydney Brander and senior River Gonzalez were awarded all-conference first-team selections.
