News from the Lake County Conservation District

LAKE COUNTY — In April, Lake County CD packaged and handed out pollinator seed to those of you who signed up to receive some. Good luck with your plantings! If you haven’t received seed, feel free to contact Camryn at cgamble@macdnet.org. We have a limited amount left!

Camryn, our Big Sky Watershed Corps member, taught her last two lessons on conservation to the fourth graders at K. William Harvey Elementary School. Students learned about plant conservation as well as pollinator conservation.

On Earth Day, Camryn went up to Kalispell to help wake up the Flathead Conservation District’s demonstration garden. Are your gardens awake and ready for Spring?

Lastly, don’t forget the Septic Cost Share applications are open! Up to $200 off your pumping cost...what a steal! There’s more information here: https://lakecountyconservationdistrict.us18.list-manage.com/track/click?u=1527d4ccdaca457a3f606e758&id=47a0d6deeb&e=fc665232d8
