LAKE COUNTY — The Lake County Elections Office has released the unofficial results of the 2023 School Election for Lake County. Results are unofficial until canvassed.
- For Trustee Chief Cliff Fire, Sigurd Jensen and Mike Meuli both won with the most votes of 159 and 212 respectively.
- For Trustee of Arlee Rural Fire, Susan L. Black and Gary T. Drye received 276 and 271 votes respectively, meaning the two of them won with only 30 write in votes against them.
- Trustees for Arlee District 8J were won by Lisa Koetter and Phaedrus Swab with 250 and 194 votes respectively.
- Trustee for Dayton District 33 was won by Ron T. Jaden, beating opponent Collin McCullough with a total of 176 votes.
- Trustees for Charlo District 7J were selected to be Daniel Cahoon with 211 votes, Nathan Bauer with 165 votes, and La Donna Fryberger with 156 votes.
- Trustees for Ronan District 30/2 were voted to be Levi Read with 534 votes and Bob Cornwell with 428 votes.
- Trustees for St. Ignatius District 28 will be Stan Delaney and Mary Leishman, each winning with 332 and 319 votes respectively.
- The bond election for Polson Elementary District 23 was approved by the public with a total of 1,935 votes for and 1,547 votes opposed.
- The bond election for Polson High School District 23 was also approved by the public with a total of 2,094 votes for and 1,796 votes opposed.
