RONAN — According to Lake County Undersheriff Dan Yonkin five unbranded horses were reunited with a Ronan family over the weekend after they disappeared from a tribal grazing lease near Pistol Creek some time between September 19 and September 30.
“The horses have been located and are safe and sound,” Yonkin said.
Owner Victoria Templer reported the horses missing on Oct. 7.
Yonkin said the cause of the disappearance was still under investigation and could not release any more details in the case.
