UTTE – In Butte on Friday and Saturday, the Chiefs placed 16th overall at the State track and field meet with a team score of 8.
Ronan’s Lucas Gerhardt came out ahead for the Chiefs, taking third in javelin by throwing 179-02 and placing sixth in shot put, going 47-11.75. Senior Connor Benn placed sixth in the pole vault clearing 12-0.
The Maidens did not have any top-six placers and finished with an overall team score of 4, putting them in 23rd place.
