Arlee holds open house, students pledge to graduate

ARLEE — On Sept. 10 from 1-3 p.m., K-6 classrooms in Arlee will be engaged in “Graduation Matters Arlee” projects and activities. Projects will be showcased in each classroom during the open house from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
All students K-12 will complete an “I Pledge to Graduate” card, and an “intent” form, stating what career field they wish to enter. Grades 7-8 classrooms will have decorated their doors to celebrate the importance of graduation. Grades 9-12 will engage in graduation and career awareness activities.
Junior high and high school journalism students will document events through photography, video, and writing.
At 3 p.m., K-12 students and staff will meet in the new gym for a kick off event. At 3:15 p.m. all students will go to the football field and form a letter “A” and photos will be taken. The event will end at 4 p.m.
For the open house from 5:30-7:30 p.m., parents may visit classrooms and a free community meal will be served in the cafeteria from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
