CPS SOCIAL WORKER
TRIBAL SOCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT
    The successful applicant must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and must have minimum of (2) years of actual working experience as a child protection investigative services worker with increased work responsibilities preferred. Supervision experience in child protection would be preferred as well. This position is subject to a background check in accordance with Public Law 101-630. This position is a mandatory reporter. The applicant must be willing to attend periodic training to increase expertise as determined by the Family Services Division Manager and/or Department Head. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with client, Tribal Council, other Social Service employees, families and employees in other organizations/departments and the general public. Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with supervisors, co-workers as well as be a team player. Maintain strict confidentiality of information as required by the position. Must pass background investigation if hired. Must have never been convicted of/or pled guilty to a crime of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual offense or crime of violence (felony). Must not have resigned to avoid disciplinary actions or have been dismissed from employment within the past (3) years. Must possess a valid Montana driver's license and maintains liability insurance. No involvement with any child or social service protection agency as a client, no alcohol or drug abuse charges or domestic violence charges within the past five (5) years mandatory.  Must be able to demonstrate computer literacy and ability to operate and do data entry.  Must not have had a conviction of driving under the influence of substances or a per se within the last three (3) years. All applicants must submit a Tribal application and copy of academic transcripts/training certificates, copy of current valid driver's license and proof of insurance, proof of enrollment in a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT and if claiming veteran's preference, a copy of DD214 must be submitted. Farmworker/laborer

2 temporary Farmworker/ Laborer needed for Nash Ranching Corp., Polson MT from 3/05/2017 – 11/05/2017. Duties include: Repair, maintenance and cleaning of farm and irrigation equipment in preparation of the growing season. Install and remove irrigation pipe, a moving pipe. Irrigate crops using hand line, wheel line and pivots. Ongoing maintenance of irrigation equipment and pumps. Drive trucks, 4-wheeler and other farm implements. Frequent bending to pick rocks. Maintenance and cleaning of farm machinery including tractors, pickups, tillage, spray, pumps and other irrigation equipment. Work outdoors in adverse weather conditions as needed. Maintain accurate irrigation records. Worker will be required to work odd/long hours and split shifts from May-Oct during irrigation and haying season. Worker may be exposed to snakes or other predators. Extensive walking, stooping, pulling, pushing and must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 80 pounds. A minimum of 3 months’ experience is required. Drivers’ license is required. Employer guarantees the worker employment for a total number of work days equal to 3/4's work time specified in regulation 20 CFR 655.122. Transportation and subsistence expenses to worksite will be paid by employer upon completion of 50% contract, or earlier if appropriate. Must pass background investigation if hired. Must have never been convicted of or pled guilty to a felony crime of domestic violence, child abuse, elder abuse, sexual offense or crime of violence. This position is a mandatory reporter of suspected child abuse and neglect.
