    The successful applicant must possess Master's degree in a health related field or health administration, with 5 years' experience OR Bachelor's degree in a health related field such as nursing or health administration, with 10 years' administrative experience, which must include supervision of employees, managing multiple budgets, grant management and writing reports. Must have professional experience in developing, implementing and evaluating health prevention, intervention and healthcare treatment services according to best practices for Native Americans, in public health. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must maintain proper licensure/certification and registration; if required. Must pass a background and suitability check according to Public Law 101-630; the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act. All applicants must submit a Tribal application and copy of academic transcript/training certificate, proof of enrollment in a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT and if claiming veteran's preference, a copy of DD214 must be submitted.     The successful applicant must possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent with progressively responsible work experience in the field of Education. A bachelor's degree is preferred. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience working in education or a closely related field. The applicant must possess a working knowledge of programs for Indian education, such as JOM and the role of parent committees funded under JOM and Special Education. A candidate with experience in implementation and execution of school policies will be preferred. The CDS must possess a Montana driver's license and maintain personal liability insurance. All applicants must submit a Tribal application and copy of academic transcript/training certificate, proof of enrollment in a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT and if claiming veteran's preference, a copy of DD214 must be submitted. This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory six (6) months probationary period.     The successful applicant must possess a specialized knowledge of the concepts, principals and practices of Family Medicine obtained through the successful completed course of study in F.N.P. The incumbent must have a thorough working knowledge of the major primary care field of internal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology and pediatrics, in order to treat a majority of patients. 1) Board of nursing certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. 2) Must be currently licensed (and in good standing) to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the United States and Montana. 3) Current ACLS certification is required. 4) Skill intact and diplomacy while working in stressful situations. 5) Ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and traditional native cultures.
6) Ability to participate in activities and functions required which assures compliance with AAHC or other accreditation organization standards.
