POLSON — The Polson Pirates took home both girls and boys varsity team victories on Saturday at the Mission Shadow Duels co-hosted by the Polson and Ronan High Schools. More than 600 runners from 16 high school and 17 middle school teams competed at the cross-country event held at the Silver Fox Golf course located on the Salish Kootenai College campus. Bea Frissell from Polson took first in the girl’s event with a time of 18 minutes, 49 seconds.
