Compete in hoop shoot, free throw contest

POLSON — Mission Valley Elks Hoop Shoot and Free Throw contest will be held Sunday, Dec. 18 at Linderman Gymnasium in Polson for boys and girls ages 8 t o 13 (as of April 1, 2017) in Polson, Ronan and surrounding areas. Free registration and warm up starts at 10:30 a.m. and the cont est begins at 11 a.m. Boys and girls will each compete in three age categories: 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13. Winners of each age group advance to the district contest in Pablo at the Joe McDonald Gymnasium. There’s no cost to participate and no admission charged.
