Attorney services

The City Council of the City of Ronan, Montana is requesting proposals for Professional Legal Attorney services. The City Attorney, when required, shall draw for the use of the Council contracts and ordinances for the City of Ronan and when required, give the Mayor or City Council verbal and/or written opinions on questions pertaining to the duties, rights, liabilities and powers of the City. Attorney shall be responsible for prosecuting all violations within the city limits, including violations of state law and city ordinances on behalf of the City of Ronan, in City Court. Childcare center lead teacher

Salish Kootenai College seeks applicants for Childcare Lead Teacher/Assistant Director.  The Childcare Center Lead Teacher/Assistant Director's basic function is to provide safe, healthy, and engaging learning environments and interactions for children enrolled in the Childcare Center and to assist the Director in managing a high-quality childcare center for Salish Kootenai College. The Lead Teacher/Assistant Director will support the development of children through collaboration with families, teachers at the SKC center, and SKC Education Department.
Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Three (3) years documented experience as a Lead Teacher in an early childhood setting required; Two (2) years documented experience in an administrative role in an early childhood setting, supervising adults required; Five (5) years working with young children; Knowledge or experience with HighScope Curriculum and Assessment model preferred; Working knowledge of NAEYC accreditation; Knowledge of child development; Good verbal and written communication skills; Familiarity with state and national childcare regulations and food standards; Current First Aid and CPR certifications; Ability to work with people of varying backgrounds and ethnic groups and the ability to take direction and work independently

FT childcare aide

Salish Kootenai College seeks applicants for Full-time Childcare Aide. The teacher aide collaborates with the director and lead teachers to meet the needs of the center, children, parents, and staff members.  This position will assist the lead teacher in classroom, supervise children while in centers, assist teacher with learning activities and implementation of HighScope Curriculum and assessment.  The Aide will read to children, play outdoors with children, assist with classroom clean up, assist cook in kitchen with set up and clean up as needed, assist in naproom.
Successful candidates will have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education; Good verbal and written communication skills; Current CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to obtain certification upon hire; Required immunizations or ability to become current upon hire; Verification of recent TB screening or ability to complete required screen; All childcare aides must pass a background check.  This position is subject to random drug testing.

Program coordinator

Salish Kootenai College seeks applicants for Program coordinator in STEM Education programs (Science, Technology, Math and Engineering).  Duties include working closely with BSSE students and the program director; coordinating and maintaining BSSE student records; student recruitment activities;  collaborating and communicating with tribal and K-20 stakeholders in oral, written and electronic forms; collecting, compiling and analysis of program related data; creating and maintaining data bases; recording and monitoring project budgets and expenditures; assisting in the generation of program related documents; completion and submission to the SKC Business Office paperwork related to program administration; collaborating in the design and delivery of teacher professional development and student outreach activities; teaching college level Science and Education courses; grant proposal writing.
Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Science or Curriculum and Instruction, Master's degree preferred; two years of experience working with tribal communities; four years of secondary teaching experience, science teaching preferred; Successful experience in grant proposal writing; Experience in implementing grant funded projects, including overseeing budgets; Excellent organizational skills; Excellent written and oral communication skills; experience teaching college courses, preferably science and secondary education courses; Proven ability to work respectfully with a wide variety of people; Professional dispositions and behaviors including punctuality, accountability and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team; Proficiency in working with communication and education related technology (computers, scanners, printer, faxes, etc.); Proficiency in using office and education related computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, web browsers, research data bases, etc.)

Site coordinator

Dixon/Charlo 21st Century Community Learning Center Site Coordinator:
The Dixon/Charlo 21st CCLC is advertising for a Site Coordinator. The coordinator is responsible for scheduling out of school time activities at both the Dixon and Charlo sites. The coordinator is responsible for hiring and overseeing personnel to teach or chaperone scheduled activities. The coordinator will attend regional and state meetings. The coordinator will be responsible for various reporting duties.
