RFB - Grant writing

Request for Bids
    The CSKT Department of Human Resources Department is accepting bids from qualified professionals experienced in grant writing and program evaluation services for tribal programs. The successful candidate will serve as the grant writer and evaluator for various grants and programs under the direction of the Department of Human Resources Department Head. This will include writing grant proposals, quarterly reports, end-of-year reports, and final summative reports as required in each individual grant or program. Such reports and required activities include: Formative and summative evaluation; Design evaluation; Process evaluation; Grant modification documentation; Research as requested; Empirical data tracking; Site visits from various cross-site evaluators.
    Required experience:
    1. Six or more years of experience in writing successfully funded tribal grants for programs on the Flathead Reservation.
    2. Experience working with H.H.S., A.C.F., S.A.M.H.S.A., A.N.A, and A.C.Y., and D.O.J. grants.
    Proposal must include:
    1. Professional writing samples of written and funded grant proposals.
    2. Resume or curriculum vitae with relevant work experience
    3. Bid for services
    4. List of successful grants written and funded within the past 2 years ($150,000 +)

TANF family intervention advocate

TANF FAMILY INTERVENTION ADVOCATE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
    Preferred Bachelor Degree in Social Work or Bachelor Degree in related fields, such as Sociology, Psychology, Human Services or Law Enforcement, and a minimum of two (2) years experience in the area of child welfare services, Tribal TANF, and/or addiction treatment, law enforcement, juvenile probation or an AA Degree in Human Services with three (3) years successful documented experience in the field of Human Services, Child Welfare, Tribal TANF, Law Enforcement, Juvenile or Adult Probation, etc. Possess a current Montana state driver's license and liability insurance and maintain both, must not have had a DUI or Per Se conviction in the past three (3) years, must never been convicted of or pled guilty to a crime of domestic violence, child abuse, or elder abuse, sexual offense or crime of violence, (felony), no alcohol or drug abuse convictions or domestic violence convictions within the past five (5) years is mandatory. This position requires background check in accordance with Public Law 101-630, 25USC Section 3201 and Public Law 101-647, 42USC Section 1331. This position is a mandatory reporter of suspected child abuse and neglect. All applicants must submit a Tribal application, supplemental questionnaire for background investigations, copy of academic transcript, copy of current valid driver's license, proof of insurance, proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT and if claiming veteran's preference, a copy of DD214 must be submitted. This is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory six (6) months probationary period. Ten years in a management related capacity with at least five (5) years of experience equivalent to CSKT Department Head. Health Care management experience preferred. All applicants must submit a Tribal application and Certified copy of academic transcripts/training certificates, proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT and if claiming veteran's preference, a copy of DD214 must be submitted. This is not a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the definition of the CSKT Drug Testing policy. The successful applicant, if not already employed by the Tribes must pass a pre-hire drug test and serve a mandatory one (1) year probationary period. Salary range is $48.67 to $54.58 per hour. Woodcutters

DHRD Elderly Services is looking for woodcutters. Please see the below list of stipulations to be a woodcutter for our program:
    1. Only tribal members are allowed to cut firewood.
2. Liability insurance is required on the vehicle you are using. 3. All permits required by Tribal Ordinance are responsibility of the woodcutter. 4. Do not have clients sign wood forms until the wood has been delivered! Their signature means they approved the order. 5.Bring in wood order forms that are signed and completed.
6. Checks cannot be processed without a completed W-9 form. 7. Checks will be processed 7 working days from the day the wood voucher is turned in. 8. Checks will be mailed. 9. Copy of your vehicle registration. 10. Copy of your driver’s license. 11. IRS W-4 form. 12. Emergency Notification. 13. Designation of Beneficiary of Final Check. 14. Signed copy of Woodcutter’s requirements.
