Add to library’s collection, adopt a book

POLSON — North Lake County Public Library is offering its annual Adopt-a-Book program, an opportunity to “adopt” a children’s book and present it to the library’s collection. Adopt-a-Book takes place during the month of February, which is designated “I Love to Read Month.”

Community members can purchase a book to honor a special child, friend, relative, or event (Valentine’s Day, birthday, anniversary, etc.), or to remember a loved one. Each hardback book is $13.

The wide variety of colorful new books waiting for adoption is now on display at the library. After a book is purchased, a bookplate will be inscribed and permanently placed in the front of the book. In addition, a special acknowledgement of the sponsored book can be sent to the honoree.

For more information, call the library at (406) 883-8225 or stop by the circulation desk at 2 First Avenue East, Polson.
