BILLINGS – The Ronan Maidens’ hopes for a State Class B girls basketball title frustratingly came to an end on Thursday at the Rimrock Auto Arena at the Metra Park in Billings. The previously unbeaten Western B Divisional Champions fell to the Red Lodge Rams 70-61 in the first round of tournament action. At the half, Red Lodge took a 39-32 advantage into the locker room. In the third-quarter the Rams were up by as many as 10 points before the Maidens orchestrated an 11-0 run to close out the quarter down only 49-48.
