Maidens end week  with upset   RONAN – With errors plaguing the Maidens defense, Ronan pulled just one win out of four games. On Thursday, Ronan split with Loyola-Sacred Heart. In game one the Maidens held fast bringing the Lady Rams into extra innings, but three errors logged in the ninth enabled Loyola to score five runs and take the win over the Maidens 8-13. Despite the loss, putting the bat on the ball was not an issue for the Maidens as they came away with 10 hits.
