gnatius Senior Citizens Center is holding its annual Fall Rummage Sale on Tuesday, Oct. 7, through Friday, Oct. 10. The sale is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. There will also be a bake sale on Friday, Oct 10.
The Lake County Health Department will administer flu shots in the center on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 3:30-5 p.m. Senior citizens should bring their Medicare cards with them.
Special “Which Witch is Which” fun will take place during the Halloween lunch.
Activities in the center for October are:
• Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
• Lunches begin at noon.
• Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Lunches can be delivered to qualified seniors.
• Tuesday-Friday, Oct. 7-10: rummage sale
• Friday, Oct. 10: baked chicken and birthday cake lunch, bake sale
• Monday, Oct. 13: pinochle, 7 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 14: beef stroganoff lunch
• Wednesday, Oct. 15: flu shots, 3:30-5p.m. and pork chop dinner, 5:30 p.m.
• Friday, Oct 17: tater tot casserole lunch
• Tuesday, Oct. 21: Italian wedding soup lunch
• Friday, Oct. 24 baked trout lunch
• Tuesday, Oct. 28: chicken cordon bleu lunch
• Friday, Oct. 31: Halloween goulash lunch
