ST. IGNATIUS — St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center has an opening for a part-time cook.
The Lake County Health Department will administer flu shots in the center on Wednesday, Oct. 15, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Senior citizens should bring their Medicare cards with them. Special “Which Witch is Which” fun will take place during the Halloween lunch on Oct. 31.
Activities in the center for the rest of October are:
• Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
• Lunches begin at noon.
• Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Lunches can be delivered to qualified seniors.
• Oct. 15: flu shots, 3:30-5p.m.
• Oct. 15: pork chop dinner, 5:30 p.m.
• Oct 17: tater tot casserole lunch
• Oct. 21: Italian wedding soup lunch
• Oct. 24: baked trout lunch
• Oct. 28: chicken cordon bleu lunch
• Oct. 31: Halloween goulash lunch
