CHARLO – The Lady Vikings split the week with a win at home and a defeat on the road, taking both matches to a fighting five sets and bringing their season total to 9-2 overall.

On Tuesday the Lady Vikings battled their way to a 3-2 league victory against St. Regis.

Sienna Brown led her team with 22 kills, 12 digs and a pair of aces while libero Brooke Doty chipped in 22 digs.

At Drummond Saturday, the Lady Vikings took the Lady Trojans on a marathon ride keeping the score tight in each set but ultimately tumbling in the fifth to come home with the 2-3 defeat.

Brown once again took control on the court with 26 kills and 13 digs while Doty’s knees saw the floor more than once scuffing up 25 digs. Jaycee Anderson posed a threat at the serve line with eight aces for the Lady Vikings.

Charlo will travel to Arlee Oct. 16 and then on to Victor Oct. 18.

Drummond def. Charlo 21-25, 19-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15-7
