Local kids place in NFL’s Punt, Pass and Kick contest

MISSOULA – Some 93 boys and girls ages 6-15 participated at the Western Montana Sectional competition of the NFL Punt Pass and Kick program in Missoula Oct. 5 with local kids sprinkling in top spots and heading to Seattle to compete in the Seattle Seahawks Regional competition.
After taking first in Missoula, Charlo’s Wrangler Gaustad will represent the boys in the 12-13 year age group. In the 14-15 year group for the boys, Corbin Davis of Polson took second and Spencer Gordon from Charlo placed third.
On the girls’ side, Chloe Davis (8-9) and Macao Jackson (10-11) both from Ronan, grabbed a first place in their age group. Joining the two top finishers will be Charlo’s Karalaini Tatukivei (12-13) and Allie Delaney (14-15) who each placed second. Third place contestants are Mission’s Ashlynn Meyer in the 6-7 age group and Trinity Lewandowski competing in the 14-15 group.
All nine young athletes will compete in Seattle prior to the Seahawks vs. San Francisco game on Dec. 14.
