Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases from Feb. 12-28:
Marvin W. Jacobson, 49, pleaded not guilty to operating a vehicle with alcohol concentration of .08% BAC or greater - first offense. He was found guilty and fined $300 and charged $85 in court costs.
Robert W. Watt, 33, pleaded guilty to criminal possession of dangerous drugs - marijuana, less than 60 grams, first offense and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was found guilty, fined $100 and charged $85 in court costs for the possession of drugs. For possession of drug paraphernalia, he was fined $100 and charged $85 in court costs.
Donny Michael Prindel, 27, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license - expired more than 180 days and to operating without liability insurance in effect - second offense. He was found guilty and for driving without a valid license, he was fined $50, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended. For operating without insurance, he was fined $350, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with eight days suspended.
Fredrick K. Hamilton, 44, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, fined $250, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.
Scott Eric Krauss, 47, pleaded guilty to violation of motor carrier safety standards - first offense. He was found guilty, fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.
Phillip R. Gribble, 29, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - second offense and to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty of both offenses and for failure to carry proof of insurance, he was fined $350, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with eight days suspended. For driving while privilege is suspended, he was fined $450, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended.
