Correction to last week’s newsletter: The center will be closed on New Year’s Day and the day after.
Congratulations to Walter Reznicek for bowling a perfect 300 game and taking high men’s game on the Tuesday afternoon senior no-tap bowling league. Alice Johnson took high women’s game with her 232. Frani Basta scored a 618 high women’s series and Ray Theiler had a 711 for the men’s series. Walter, Frani and Ray are on the same team and they were all hot, taking all four points from their opponents. Frani also had the high women’s handicap series with 810 while Ray Theiler captured the men’s handicap series with his 819.
Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Dave Nash for their generous donations all year long to our nutrition program.
Everyone is welcome to join our exercise group on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
Our lunch menu for the coming week is:
• Thursday, Dec. 25: Closed – Merry Christmas
• Friday, Dec. 26: Closed
• Monday, Dec. 29:Navy bean soup with ham, blueberry muffins
• Tuesday, Dec. 30: hamburger steak, whipped potatoes
• Wednesday, Dec. 31: baked chicken, rice with gravy
• Thursday, Jan. 1 and Friday, Jan. 2: Closed
• Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
