ST. IGNATIUS — Earl Lee won a special quilt during the drawing at the holiday dinner in the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center on Wednesday, Dec. 17. The quilt was made by the Thursday Quilters to help support the center and its activities.
The center will be closed Dec. 24 through 26 and Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 for the holidays.
The center will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 13. The meeting will be held at noon. Directors will be elected and reports will be given. Everyone is invited to join in the nutritious meal and fun. Center members are reminded that it is time to pay dues again. Dues for the year cost $10 per person.
Activities in the center for the rest of December are:
• Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
• Lunches begin at noon.
• Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
• Lunches can be delivered to qualified seniors.
• Wednesday-Friday, Dec. 24-26: closed for holiday
• Tuesday, Dec. 30: chicken cordon bleu casserole lunch
• Wednesday-Thursday, Dec. 31-Jan. 1: closed for holiday
