Neighborhood Watch changes meeting dates

ST. IGNATIUS — The St. Ignatius Neighborhood watch has changed its meeting dates from the third Thursday of each month to the third Tuesday. The change was made to minimize conflicts with other events. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, in the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center. The meetings begin at 7 p.m. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend.
During the first two meetings representatives of the St. Ignatius Police Department, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and the Highway Patrol have been present to make suggestions as to how the organization should proceed. A Neighborhood handbook will be available in the near future.
