POLSON — A horticulture/gardening series will be offered by Montana State University Lake County Extension in conjunction with Polson High School Adult Community Education program. This series is for all individuals interested in gardening activities and community involvement.
Course schedule will be eight consecutive Tuesday evenings from Jan. 20 through March 10. Classes will be held from 6-8 p.m. in the Polson High School Library. This course is open to everyone, novice and expert alike and is designed to meet the needs of home growers, and landscape beautification. Topics covered will include soils and fertility, plant growth and development, flower and vegetable gardening, planting and maintaining trees, fruit trees, pollinators, introduction to beekeeping and water efficiency.
