POLSON – Some people drink from the fountain of knowledge while others use it only as a mouthwash.
Oops! We thought we were all out of See’s candy but another case of assorted candies magically appeared, just in time for Valentine’s Day. They are $18 each.
The veterans’ representative will be here on the third Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m.–noon.

Clara will teach the safe driving class on Tuesday, Feb. 17, beginning at 9 a.m. and running until 2 p.m. with a break for lunch.
In the senior no-tap bowling league, Cris Alter scored a 220 for the high women’s game and Bob Elsberry took high men’s with 286. Cris also had the high women’s series with 569. Larry Alter had high men’s series with a 700. Frani Basta had the high women’s handicap series with her 608 while Bob Elsberry turned in a 741 for men’s handicap series.

• Friday, Feb. 13: sloppy Joe, tater tots
• Monday, Feb. 16: taco soup, sandwich
• Tuesday, Feb. 17: pork chops, rice
• Wednesday, Feb. 18: baked chicken, potato and gravy
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Sometimes the thoughts in my head get bored and go for a stroll through my mouth. This is never a good thing.
