POLSON – The Pirates hosted the Northwestern A wrestling Divisonal tourney Saturday and finished the day on a high note after placing second with a team score of 154 and receiving nine top four finishers with invites to the State Tournament next weekend.
Pirates Cameron Brown (113) and Mike Corrigan (205) each grabbed Divisional title hardware with Brown winning on a sweeping 6-0 decision and Corrigan winning gold on a 2:19 pin.
Parker Adler (120), Jaben Wenzel (132), Skylar Knutson (138) and Tele Seemann (170) all placed second in their weight class while Mateo Quinones (103), Shayne Pierre (113) and Thunder Morales (126) placed third.
The State Tournament will start Friday in Billings.
