ARLEE — The Bearhead Swaney Inter-Tribal Playwrights’ Center presents selected scenes from the collection of plays dealing with the topic of “Blood Quantum.” The plays “A Stray Dog,” “Grandchildren of the Buffalo Soldiers,” “Mix-Blood Seeds,” and “Pieces of Us: How the Lost Find Home,” are featured in the reading and are part of the collection: “Grandchildren of the Buffalo Soldiers and Other Untold Stories” by William S. Yellow Robe, Jr.

Join us at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27 at the Hangin’ Art Gallery along Highway 93 in downtown Arlee as we present selected scenes with a running time of a half hour from each play. Continuing the Bearhead Swaney Inter-Tribal Playwrights’ Center’s mission, a post-show discussion is scheduled featuring prominent and community representatives to address topics from the texts.
