POLSON — If all the cars in the world were lined up bumper to bumper, you can bet somebody would pull out and try to pass.

I asked her what she sees in me. She said I saw you had See’s. Candy, that is. She may be shallow but she knows good candy when she sees it. We have a short supply left. When it’s gone, she may be too. I’ll see. Don’t risk losing your sweetie by running out of See’s Candy.

Our tax people will be here one last time on April 9. I’m told someone will be here on April 15 also, for any last minute stragglers. The AARP driving course for April 21 is filling up fast. Get your name in now.

Brenda Williams continues to dominate the lanes at Tuesday senior bowling, rolling a 209 for women’s high game. Keith Ross had a 274 for men’s high game. The same two took the high series with Brenda’s 549 and Keith’s 708. In the handicap series, Diana Sawyer had 720 for the women’s and Pete Daniels had a 780 for the men’s.

We plan on resuming bingo on Friday, April 10.

Our lunch menu for the coming week will be:

•  Thursday, April 2: baked ham, sweet potatoes

•  Friday, April 3: baked salmon, baked potatoes

•  Monday, April 6: potato soup, corn bread

•  Tuesday, April 7: lasagna

•  Wednesday, April 8: pork chops, rice and gravy

Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Have a good week.
