Lake County Justice Court news for Jan. 21, 2010

Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases from Jan. 8-14:

Susan Anna Lynn, 29, pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of dangerous drugs - marijuana, less than 60 grams, first offense. She was found guilty, fined $100, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Jacqueline B. Queen, 57, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - first offense. She was found guilty, fined $150 and charged $35 in court costs.

Lorene Yvonne Mitchell, 46, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of .08% or greater - second offense and to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - first offense. She was found guilty of both offenses, fined $600, charged $85 and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 days suspended for operating with BAC of .08% or greater. For failure to carry proof of insurance, she was fined $150 and charged $35 in court costs.

Jineva Carol Jackson, 23, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was found guilty, fined $165, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 165 days in jail with 175 days suspended.

Cammeron L. Quaring, 28, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license - expired more than 180 days. He was found guilty, fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.

Eric Gregory Nicholaisen, 32, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle - first offense. He was found guilty, fined $150 and charged $35 in court costs.
