POLSON — Comfort Trellis Bolen, Sr., 32, was found not guilty of criminal endangerment and not guilty of partner family member assault. The jury could not reach a unanimous verdict on a charge of threats and other improper influence in official and political matters (three verdicts of guilty, nine verdicts of not guilty); consequently, the judge declared a mistrial. The state will not re-file on that count.

Bolen’s bond was exonerated.

According to court documents, charges stemmed from a November 2009 incident where Bolen’s wife called police to their home after Bolen had allegedly fired a hole in their floor with a shotgun while they were having a verbal argument.

Judge Deborah Kim Christopher presided over the jury trial Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 19 and 20.
