ST. IGNATIUS – The story of a French woman’s undying devotion to remembering those who lost their lives liberating Europe in World War II will be shown in the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center on Wednesday, June 17. The video, “The Mother of Normandy,” will be shown on the center’s big screen following the Wednesday evening meal. Everyone is invited to the meal and the showing. 

The center is requesting bids to remove an old storage shed behind the center and construct or move in a 10-foot by 12-foot storage shed. Bids may be dropped by the center or sent to Mack McConnell, Box 811 St. Ignatius MT 59865, or you can phone 406-745-4151. 

Events for the June are: 

Bingo is played after almost every lunch.

Lunches begin at noon. 

Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays. 

Lunches can be delivered to qualified seniors.

—  Friday, June 12: baked chicken and birthday cake lunch

—  Tuesday, June 16: taco salad lunch

—  Wednesday, June 17: roast pork dinner, 5:30 p.m.; Normandy video

—  Friday, June 19: Korean beef and rice lunch

—  Tuesday, June 23: hamburger gravy over biscuits lunch

—  Friday, June 26: ham and scalloped potatoes lunch

—  Tuesday, June 30: tater tot casserole
