ST. IGNATIUS — The St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center will not serve a meal on Friday, July 3, to allow staff members and others an extended holiday. Also, the center board of directors will hold its regular July meeting on Tuesday, June 30, to allow time for planning and preparing for the annual Good Old Days Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, July 18.
The center is still short of funds to replace the dilapidated storage shed behind the building. Any help in that direction would be appreciated.
Activities at the center for the rest of June are:
— Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
— Lunches begin at noon.
— Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
— Lunches can be delivered to qualified seniors.
— Wednesday, June 17: roast pork dinner, 5:30 p.m.; Normandy video after supper
— Friday, June 19: Korean beef and rice lunch
— Tuesday, June 23: hamburger gravy over biscuits lunch
— Friday, June 26: ham and scalloped potatoes lunch
For more information, call the center at 745-4462 or write to St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center, Box 758, St. Ignatius, MT 59865.
