ST. IGNATIUS — Those that came to the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens’ Center for supper on June 19 were treated afterward to the video, “The Mother of Normandy” on the center’s big screen television.
The center will not serve a meal on Friday, July 3, to allow staff members and others an extended holiday. Also, the center board of directors will hold its regular July meeting on Tuesday, June 30, to allow time for planning and preparing for the annual Good Old Days Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, July 18.
The activities at the center for the rest of June are:
— Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
— Lunches begin at noon.
— Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
— Lunches can be delivered to qualified seniors.
— Friday, June 26: ham and scalloped potatoes lunch
— Tuesday, June 30: board of directors meet at 10 a.m.; tater tot casserole lunch
— Wednesday, July 1: dinner, 5:30 p.m.
— Thursday, July 3: center closed
