Eagles crush St. Regis, 75-19

PABLO — Cole Noble scored 30 points in the Eagles’ dominating 75-19 win over the St. Regis Tigers Feb. 2.

The Eagles jumped out to an easy lead in the first quarter 34-6, and everything was downhill from there. The Tigers were outscored in every quarter, putting up just a single point in the fourth quarter.

Clayton Malatare had 23 assists in the contest; Artie Mendoza added 13; and Skyler Rossbach had 11.

On Feb. 4, Two Eagle had more of a challenge with the Superior Bobcats who are 8-2 in conference play and 14-2 overall. The Eagles fell to the Bobcats 63-43 and are now 6-5 in conference and 10-6 overall. Superior jumped out 19-5 in the first quarter and remained in control most of the game. Zach Benda led the Bobcats with 16, and Mendoza paced the Eagles with 14.

The Eagles play Arlee at home Feb. 9 and travel to Valley Christian Feb. 11.
