POLSON — The biggest lie I tell myself is, “I don’t have to write this down; surely I’ll remember.”
I hope you remember us here at the senior center if your bountiful harvests are more than you know what to do with. We can certainly use them and always appreciate your vegetables and fruit.
It is with great sorrow that we note the passing of Betty Gerrity. She was a long-time member and a regular fixture here as she worked with Mary on quilting. Always a pleasant soul, we express our condolences to her family and we thank them for their generosity and donations to the senior center. It was great seeing the entire family here for the dinner in honor of Betty.
Our lunch menu for the coming week will be:
— Thursday, July 9: Salisbury steak, whipped potatoes
— Friday, July 10: sloppy Joes, potato wedges
— Monday, July 13: Navy bean and ham soup
— Tuesday, July 14: hot turkey sandwich, whipped potatoes
— Wednesday, July 15: pork tip gravy, noodles
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
