ST. IGNATIUS — Zion Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran Preschool Child Care are the recipients of Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod Domestic Development Grant in the amount of $5,500. These funds will ensure the continuation of a commitment to an early learning environment in St. Ignatius for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers who benefit greatly through exposure to this style of child care.

The Zion Lutheran Church, St. Ignatius, supports this program as a Mission Project through financial, structural and faith-based obligations. The Zion Lutheran Preschool Child Care as a non-profit facility is given the freedom to accommodate each individual child, not the Federal guidelines of learning. We also are able to open our program to every family regardless of income, race, or level of need. Learning is accomplished through a rich exposure to alphabets, language, numeracy, sciences, social play, emotional and physical supported enrichments, among other opportunities provided.

Receiving this grant will enable the facility to increase the financial assistance to those families who may or may not qualify for State or Tribal grant monies. Bringing an early learning opportunity with kindness and patience to every child is our main commitment. All day and part time care enrollments are available. A 3-to-5-year-old, Pre-K, preschool class enrollment for September through May has limited spaces available, call or stop to visit our facility. Zion Lutheran Preschool Child Care is located at 306 2nd Ave. in St. Ignatius.
