Clara will be teaching two more AARP safe driving classes this year. The next one is on Aug. 18 from 9 a.m.– 2 p.m. and the last one is in October. Remember, present the certificate of completion to your insurance company and get a discount on your insurance.
Also on Aug. 18, the veteran’s representative will be here from 10 a.m.–noon.
Our lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, Aug. 13: turkey potpie with biscuit
— Friday, Aug. 14: cheeseburger, lettuce and tomato, Jo-Jo’s, corn on the cob
— Monday, Aug. 1: vegetable beef soup, tuna salad sandwich
— Tuesday, Aug. 18: pork tips and noodles, green beans
— Wednesday, Aug. 19: hash brown bake, link sausage
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
